We were approached by Maine Post and Beam to help them develop a clean, professional-looking website that would — like their timberframe construction — highlight their own elegant design ethic.

To begin, they wanted a site to serve as a calling-card, and online portfolio of their work. But they also wanted a design that would allow their site to grow — they envisioned additional content in the future, including an online catalog of custom and hybrid timber frame components and a frequently asked questions area.

Short-term, Long-term Solutions

Brushfire Media worked closely with Maine Post and Beam to develop information architecture and a visual design that would meet both their short- and long-term goals. We then implemented the site, coding it to current { World Wide Web Consortium } XHTML and CSS standards, all while helping them stay within buget.
